Photobiomodulation Therapy treats so many conditions

James Carroll, CEO of THOR Photomedicine, was interviewed about current trends in Photobiomodulation Therapy at a SPIE (an international society advancing an interdisciplinary approach to the science and application of light) conference in San Francisco last year.

The wide range of applications seems too good to be true but makes perfect sense once it is seen that the therapy works at a cellular level. Most diseases produce oxidative stress in cells and this red light and infrared therapy is particularly good at reducing it.

…and see the power of Photobiomodulation Therapy to treat conditions such as spinal cord injuries, post myocardial infarction (post heart attack) and macular degeneration (loss of central vision in the eyes). The therapy, combined with exercise, also reduces the risk of developing diabetes and strokes.
